I've figured out the meaning of life.

It revolves around the masochistic idea that one must torture him/herself for three-fourths of his or her life in order to slightly enjoy the remaining one-fourth.

  Yep. That's it.

Forget about making things better for mankind. Mankind is already far beyond repair. I've given up on it. What's the point?

Oh forget it anyway. I quit.

Edit: Normally I would delete the above entry, but I don't want to act like it didn't happen. Going through my own little personal hell and back was necessary. There's a lot that needs to change in my life. I can't help mankind if I can't even help myself.

And that's precisely what I'm going to do.

  "Clocks" by Coldplay

"Light My Fire" by The Doors

Those have to be two of the *best* make out songs ever!

In other news, I went absolutely insane shopping yesterday. Good times. Bought several things sporting cherries somewhere on them. As you can tell from my layout, I'm all about cherries. Sort of my declaration of independence if that makes sense. Or maybe it's because I like Pacman so much. Either way, they're great!

All right. Of the 20+ shows I've been involved in, it's very safe to say this one worries me the most. One night. One night to do a week's worth of work. Ugh. If nothing else, it'll be interesting to see what happens.

Can't think of anything else I wanted to say, so I'm off to watch Rocko, Spiderman, or play vintage video games. Or maybe I'll do all three at the same time. Hooray for multi-tasking!

Wow. Just realized it's been over a year since I joined the realm of the Xangans.

*decides to give in to the shouts of "speech! speech!"*

This year has been such a wild ride. Starting college again only to leave a week later, getting my first real job, meeting some amazing people, getting my second and current real job, and....well, doing things I thought I would never do. Do I regret any of them? Goodness no. They're a part of me now, and I wouldn't give them up for the world.

It is time for me to stop living in the past, however. Memories are wonderful, but living on them is very dangerous. Like it or not, time changes things, and they're never the same twice. I have no idea what the future holds, but if the past is any indication, it's going to be crazy. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

As for the present, it's firework time!  I love the 4th of July. For whatever reason, it seems magic is even more possible. Never know what might happen under those flashes of light.

Even though I have been terribly neglectful with this little corner of cyberspace, I intend to update it more frequently in the future.

For now folks, I'm off to the races!

  We all know what happened.

*mutters* Stupid Patriots! Stupid Patriots! Stupid Patriots! Stupid Patriots!

The amusing part is that the whole world seems to be more concerned with Janet Jackson's nippular(It's Chandler's word; I don't know how to spell it.)area than anything else. This morning I heard she's been banned from the Grammy's as a result. The next ban damn well better be Justin, because it's just as much his fault as it is hers.

Wow. I have neglected this beautiful little weblog for close to a month. That must be a new record.

Well enough of my excuses, now to business. There's post-season football to discuss.

  Week 1(Wild Card)

*Ravens VS Titans-Final score: 20-17 in favor of the Titans*

I have no love for either of these teams, but I have much less love for the Titans. As a result, I chose the lesser of two evils: the Ravens. Unfortunately they couldn't pull it off.

*Colts VS Broncos-Final score: 41-10 in favor of the Colts*

Quite a surprise there. I admit the Colts' victory made me happy. Someone needed to get rid of the Broncos anyway.

At the end of the weekend, the Titans, Packers, Panthers, Colts, Patriots, Eagles, and the Rams remain in the playoffs.

  Week 2

*Colts VS Chiefs-Final score: 38-31 in favor of the Colts*

It seems there's nothing those Colts can't do.

*Titans VS Patriots-Final score: 17-14 in favor of the Patriots*

Well the Titans are gone, but at a price. Damn, I really *hate* New England!

The Colts, Patriots, Eagles, and Panthers advance to the AFC and NFC championship games.

  Week 3

*Colts VS Patriots-Final score: 24-14 in favor of the Patriots*

Now I **REALLY HATE** the Patriots!! Ugh!

*Eagles VS Panthers-Final score: 14-3 in favor of the Panthers*

Definitely a surprise. Especially for all the Eagles fans out there. Actually I wanted them to win too. I don't know if the Panthers can beat the Patriots....

but I certainly hope they can.

  Kick some Patriot ass Panthers!
